Webseecon ReviewWhat Is Going On? What Happened To The Update? - Version: 2.1, 1/1/2008 05:07AM PST

Where is the update? I have been waiting for over two years. I purchased this software but it has NEVER worked for me. Is the developer still out there?

Webseecon Developer NoteUpdate coming soon - Version: 2.1, 1/13/2006 07:23AM PST

Just to keep everyone updated...
We're in the final stages of development with Webseecon 3 - which will add numerous enhancements and fix the issue mentioned here by some users. The upgrade will be free to all current users (Anyone with a valid Webseecon v1/2 license will receive a free upgrade). If you're having any problems with the current release, version 3 should fix it, and is due for release in the first quarter of 2006. A Universal Binary version is also in the works for the new Intel-based Macs.

Webseecon ReviewDemo Continuously Crashed! Sent Crash Report! - Version: 2.1, 1/9/2006 08:17PM PST

I would love to use Webseecon but the demo worked for me not one time. I sent a crash report to the vendor, but I suppose I fell through the cracks. Well, my demo period is over now. Apparently, it is working for some, and I'd love to recommend it, but I can't; for me, it never worked! If I had another trial period - a more efficacious one - I would probably find it recommendable, because it sure sounds neat!

The reviewer who called this infectious was absolutely right! My only experience is with v.2.1 and I just love it. It has worked perfectly for me and is priced right for a small utility. It certainly makes it easier to find an url in a folder now. Not something someone really needs, but something I don't think I'd want to live without now. Great app!

.

Glad to see a fix has been posted to curb the
registration problems, still crashing but I suppose
that is to be expected when you realize what this
Li'app is being asked to do.

Have a folder or two of webloc icons maxed up to
128x is a great way to browse those often hurried,
spontaneously grabbed collection of urls that litter our
'puters. It called home (got snitched) twice when testing
it - which had me thinking spyware style activity but I don't
have any proof that is going on and some urls Webseecon
might be iconizing may require it.

It is a little slow and balks at some URLs a few more times
than I would have liked but all in all an ingenious and unique
app. Apple should take note and offer it as an option in
safari's preferences - just like it should include url path info
on downloaded files 'getinfo' comments box.

Hi everybody, tried out this software as well using the demo version. I am using a Powerpook with Panther and all the current system updates. Webseencon seems like a very good idea but when I started using the demo version I have got a fatal error. The software is still not working yet. Hopefully developers will make it work one day. Best regards A Mac Power User Christian

Webseecon ReviewCrashes consistently - Version: 2.0.5, 2/15/2005 12:21PM PST

Looked like a great idea. Unfortunately, it gets me to a "Try the Demo" window, then crashes. In testing, I've used 3 of 10 shareware trials trying to get it to work... and it hasn't yet.

Too bad.

Totally a great mac utility. This makes things alot easier to see as I am one of those people with millions of webloc files scattered around.
