This is the only reasonably priced, more than reasonably priced, tuner that I've found, software or manual, which can read the pitch of an Indian tanpura without becoming totally confused by the overtones: most register the dominating third (if tuned to a fifth) or simply misjudge the tonic altogether. I even added extra harmonics (it sounds like a musical waterfall) and still it could register the underlying notes. A lesson for my ears. It also seems, so far, very happy in Tiger.

I paid for the OS 9 version because it was great. Then I switched to OS X and Mr. Laidman said he wasn't going to develope a version for X so I found another tuner and paid for it too. Now that it has been rewritten for X I've paid for it again because it's worth it.
Seems more accurate and stable than other tuners. I still try others and always give up on them and use Chromatic Tuner instead.
