Product Description:

aMule is an eMule-like client for the eD2k and Kademlia networks, supporting multiple platforms. Currently aMule (officially) supports a wide variety of platforms and operating systems, being compatible with more than 60 different hardware+OS configurations. aMule is entirely free, it's sourcecode released under the GPL just like eMule, and includes no adware or spyware as is often found in proprietary P2P applications. aMule is built upon the wxWidgets (formely wxWindows) toolkit, which enables it to support multiple platforms.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed windows compilation, that was still broken.
  • Fixed locale bug. See http://forum.amule.org/thread.php?threadid=10178&sid=
  • Fixed control-clicking (right-clicking) on tabs in notebooks on the Mac.
  • Fixed SmartLowID checks based on a patch/report by eyalzo.
  • Fixed GonozsTopi's fix for locale bug (double init).
  • Added script to import mldonkey downloads into aMule.
  • Fixed "0000867: French traduction is uncorrect grammatically".
  • Allow amulecmd to execute a global, local or kad search. Then you can get the results, which are shown in a list. From that list you can choose one file to download.

The only working aMule version for Leopard is the under development CVS. You can download it at the aMule web site, and even though it's beta, has been working fine for me for over a month now, with none of the bugs from the "stable" 2.1.3 version. Cheers;

aMule 2.1.3. is still working fine on my iBook/OS X.3.9. Not so on the new iMac/OS X.5.1. Can't get any servers! Anybody there who had the same problem and fixed it?

Run Home Slow
2.1.3 was workin' fine for me... 'till Leopard came :-)
it loads and works but can freeze for nothing anytimes
or if u hide it, won't come back... had to force quit.
