Am I missing something here? It seems to do just what Dent Du Midi does, except that GB Midi takes longer and costs money. I guess it's a tool for republicans only.

I am fast becoming a fan of Andy's stuff for GarageBand. It works well and smoothly. I have used Dent du Midi and it is solid for as far as it goes. Andy goes a step further. I cannot afford to wait for Apple to get around to updating Logic or GB again -- so $15 to suppport Drabble's fine work is more than fair.
The SF2 conversions for GB and this make for some powerful amateur music and solid translations of net captured midi work. (Now if I was a better arranger so I did not have to use complex pre-created midi files.)
Strongly recommend

onto the track window in GB. So what exactly is this needed for? Or is it only meant to be used together with GarageBand 1.0?
