deadsend
Apple killed it. We used to share music files at our office but people started upgrading their iTunes & gettunes is now kaput.
Hopefully they'll figure out a way to fix it.

I have an upgraded (G4 550mhz) pismo running Panther and getTunes worked pretty well on it. I installed a copy on my DP1.25Gz G4 tower running the latest version of Tiger, and it asks for the password over and over. I even turned on the root user as per the Read Me with no results. (On the Panther machine, I didn't even have to do the root user thing).
I thought it was something I'd done wrong. Recently I upgraded to Tiger on the Pismo for various reasons (like, I couldn't run terminal anymore). GetTunes doesn't work on it anymore, asks for the password. How many of these posts will the developers read before they sort this out?

Simple. Easy to use.
Don't understand the frustration the others have mentioned. Followed the directions in the read me file--no problem at all.

A collegue and I both tried this software with no success, it just keeps freezing.
Downloaded Blue Coconut which is slightly simpler but has never failed.
Can only manage one album at a time but that's a small price for an app that actually works.
