This works great on single address emails in Entouage. I tested it a whole bunch of times and tweaked my HTML document and all was cool. But when I went for the big mail out using an address group, I got nothing. I'm wary of experimenting too much incase I end up sending the same mail a bunch of times. Is there something special I have to do to use this script for group mailings?

I'll hang back on recommending this til I find out if I'm being dumb or not!

Send Complex HTML with Inline Files 2004 ReviewWould be great if it worked... - Version: 0.3.0, 8/8/2005 10:58AM PST

Windows guys can send webpages so easy. I thought this would work for Mac. I set everything up as orderd, saved a newstory page from the LATimes and tried to send it. Kept getting errors that a "file/javascript/Tacoda_AMS_DDC.Header.js is not in the right location"

Could not make it work. Maybe someone has a suggestion. Mac ought to be able to send a webpage.

Hmph!

Send Complex HTML with Inline Files 2004 ReviewMultiple instances embedded - Version: 0.3.0, 7/19/2005 11:50AM PST

This thing is exactly what I'm looking for, and it could be saving me a heap of trouble. Except that it's embedding images more than once. I have a logo in a sample file that's used once, and when I view the message's source it's been embedded 10 times.

This probably explains why the same file, sent using Outlook Express 6, is 56 KB (including an automatic, plain-text version), while the one sent using Send Complex HTML is 421 KB. (Yes, OE is embedding images, too. But it's only doing it once for each image.)

The HTML source file is validated against W3C, except that CSS definitions appear in the <body>, not the <head>. (No images are defined in CSS -- all are simple <img> tags.)

Hate to complain about freeware from a good developer, but I want this to work so much...

Love the concept but I'm having a lot problems with images not embedding. I have a html file with inline css and 4 images, but only 2 are embedding - and I've tried it many times.

Has anyone any sugestions?

Send Complex HTML with Inline Files 2004 CommentaryDoes it solve the FORWARDING issue? - Version: 0.3.0, 3/16/2005 08:23AM PST

I currently use a send complex HTML script with Entourage and it works fine, but when my recipients forward the complex html email the images do not forward in some instances. The MAC completely messes it up and sends just text. I used a group once to send them out for me and they somehow embedded (attached) all the images in the HTML file to the email and it seemed to solve the problem. Does this product do this?

thanks!

I was having difficulty with Paul Berkowitz's orginal "Send Complex HTML X" Applescript. This script worked like a charm!
