What's new in this version:

Fixed - Non-English installs now play the general soundtrack, when their localised version is not present.
Fixed - Game now allows users switch languages in the 'Advanced' tab of the 'XIII Options' dialog, that appears when the game is launched (hold down 'Cmd' or 'Apple' key when launching the game if you have previously deselected the 'Always show this dialog' option)

Sound stutters everywhere, in cinematics and during gameplay. The most annoying cinematics can't be skipped. And QuickSave doesn't work, which makes the game very frustrating, especially when you have to go over the cinematics, again and again. The update does nothing to address those major flaws. I hope the next will.

A Nony Mouse

..on first person shooters. Very fun and great graphics. I have a Powerbook 12" G4 1Ghz with 1.25Gb RAM w/NvidiaGO520032Mb Video card and it plays well. Problem with this game though is that the audio tends to stutter here and there. There's no hard line to figure out whats causing it but it appears an application update is needed.
