Google produces a program for the Mac. You can use the GMail Notifier to do exactly the same thing as Gmailto.

I downloaded the Notifier and it works great!

Gmailto ReviewWorks intermittently in Safari 2.0 - Version: 2, 7/21/2005 01:55PM PST

I like the program overall, but using the "Mail link to this page" feature in Safari 2.0 doesn't always work. Sometimes it opens a new Gmail message with the correct information (Title of the page in the Subject field, URL in the body of the message), but sometimes it just redirects to the Gmail Inbox. I can't figure out how to trigger it to do one or the other consistently. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future version. Other than that, I like it - it makes having Gmail easier.

It opens my Gmail account just fine, but it doesn't populate the address or (in the case of a custom subject link) subject field. Any ideas, developer??

Using Firefox v1 as default browser on OS X.3.6

great little tool. if it got a bad rating from someone, its because they cant figure out how to use it. a quick leap to the developer's site, however, displays full (one paragraph) instructions on installation. thank you to the developer for a great free util.

Works for me. Just click any email link on a webpage to see(sometimes it takes a few seconds for a new gmail window to open though).

As far as I can tell, this does nothing at all to anything. Perhaps it's out of date?

Is there a way to get Gmail to also display the frameset that normally surrounds the "Compose" frame?
