Product Description:

OS X lets you add folders to the Finder's sidebar, or the right side of the Dock. This excellent feature provides quick access to frequently used folders. This is great except ... all folders look the same.

FolderBrander lets you easily change the look of your folders - pick a different color and add a short text label.

Found some nice folder icons on the web? Add them to FolderBrander's custom icon set (just drop them in there), and setting folder icon becomes easier than ever.

What's new in this version:

  • Now accepts JPEG images as custom icons (however, PNG and TIFF are still preferred since JPEG doesn't support transparency).
  • Remembers selected icon sets across restarts.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
  • Mac OS X 10.5 PPC
  • Mac OS X 10.4 Intel
  • Mac OS X 10.4 PPC

No need for this application - just customize the folder icon (using a folder icon you found on the web) via the Get Info window and then drag it to the Finder's sidebar, or the right side of the Dock.
