Product Description:

AddressBookToCSV is a one trick pony whose purpose in (artificial) life is to export contacts from the Mac OS X Address Book to a form Gmail can import. That form is called CSV, comma separated value format.

If you want anything more from it, well, you've got the source (or you can ask me).

What's new in this version:

  • Handles companies better.
  • Pays attention to address book name ordering properties.
  • Please note that gmail's contact import interface is now available to all accounts in all browsers.

Hi,
I just downloaded and used this software, to export my address book. It worked great, but just for names and e mail addresses. Is there a way that it can also export the other data as a text file? (mailing addresses, notes, phone numbers, etc) I need it for something other than gmail.

Just works. Two buttons to click, the first does the export to a location you select; the second opens your Gmail "contacts" page (must be logged in to Gmail at the time). Click import, find file, badda-bing. Dunno what other functionality you would want...
