Not too bad. The effects are just "OK", they load really slow. I do like some of the fading frame effects. It's worth about 3 or 4 bucks to my use of it. If the effects were faster and had more control, it "may" be worth the cost then. I would have tested it more, but I got tired of the spinning beach ball, it was painful. Maybe some of the slowness was due to the loading and reloading of the effects to the left. B/W G4 processor 1 GB ram OS 10.3.6

I gave this app a whirl. The interface is simple and intuitive. It was easy to layer effects and undo them for experimenting. Several of the effects are simple ones found on most low end photo apps. I liked the chalk effect the most. Most of the potentially interesting effects just plain destroyed my pictures as opposed to making it look like art. The problem is that the effects (Halftone, Mosaic, Cubism...) need to be applied at different scales to different pictures. A slider to control the size/roughness of the effect would make this app have much more appeal (with perhaps a preview of a small area for speed in selecting the slider effect). I would also like to see a magnify image option to be able to view a section of the image in detail. With a little more work, this app could become much more useful.
