iMount Usage TipCan unmount a single partition! - Version: 1.0, 4/25/2005 01:51PM PST

But a bit late... When I didn't know how to use the terminal I was searching for an app that could unmount without ejecting the hole disk and was simpler & quicker than launching DiskUtility.
So, I downloaded this to try it.
Well, it's not much quicker to me.
For the moment, the quickest way I found is to make a finder clickable file, with the ".command" extension(and executable permission), it acts like a home-made application button and does what you commanded/wrote.

iMount Review1.0 quite nice - Version: 1.0, 4/8/2005 10:03AM PST

The 1.0 additions, including auto scan and disk info are nice. Does what it says. A help to be able to keep drives physically connected, but offline.

For some reason, unmounting takes longer than the eject button from the Finder.
