Saved my butt, nearly had to turn on a WinDoze machine...

Thanks for doing this, great app.
Unfortunately, there is no Mac equivalent to Active X.
There again, I don't particularly want prepubescent Bulgarian crime lords hijacking my computer.

So far, so great.

Great application. Hope it continues to improve.
Quite good for a pre-1.0

Snoops
It displays chm-files nice within a genuine OS X GUI. However, it definitely needs a search function. Concerning it is a pre-1.0 version I am looking forward to see more.
New feature request

I was glad to see a CHM reader for OS X 10.4.x after looking at the quick description of the software i went ahead and downloaded it only to be disappointed.
The screen shogt that is showed shows the PHP docs and the ability to search and save fav's but none of the is in version 0.3 OR 0.4b
I downloaded this chm reader exactly for reading the PHP docs. and I Cant for the life of me find search or Fav's not only that but the "Preference" are disabled so its not even a feature I might not have enabled. And when clicking on HELP -> Chomx Help to make sure I hadnt missed something i was treated to "Help isn't available for Chmox"
all and all i have to go so far as to say this application is next to worthless and shame on the author for posting doctored screen shots

Can't make PDF - Version: 0.4b, 2/16/2007 09:06PM PST

If only I could convert these to PDF. I have some manuals that I need to read and want to print them and can not. If this program would somehow allow you to print or export to a PDF, that would be GREAT!!!
But it's a nice, basic program. What more can you expect from a program that makes a PC-based file format readable on a Mac...Oops, did I go there...?

I cannot get Chmox to view chm files properly. It does not display any images at all, in any of the manual chm files I have, while Chamonix displayed them without a hitch.
Chmox is also lacking in features. A search function is critical for using large manuals, and a "favorites" option, or some way to bookmark frequently used pages, would be a welcome addition. Sadly, Chmox cannot print; hit Apple-p, or select "Print" from the file menu, and Chmox crashes and burns every time. It would be wonderful to be able to use the print function to convert all of my manuals to PDF files, but apparently that is not meant to be. I cannot find a single chm viewer for OS X that can print or convert to PDF format. What would be most useful is the ability to convert chm files to PDF files while preserving the table of contents, hyperlinked text, and searchable text (but that's an awful lot to ask of a free app). Better yet, the chm format should be utterly banished for all time, in favor of PDF files!
Chmox needs some serious refinement. If the developer can iron out the bugs, and expand the feature set, then Chmox could be a solid chm viewer. For now, I'll be using Chamonix.

But another concern is whether it's dead. This is the end of 2008 and the 4beta was released in 2006 ... this indicates to me yet another dead Mac product. Kind of makes me want to stick with the paid developers, but at least I don't rely on this for my revenue.
