not working on Leopard 10.5.1 - Version: 1.0.2, 1/5/2008 04:07PM PST

i love this app. i used it incessantly prior to upgrading to Leopard, but now it doesn't work at all - i get an applescript error: "can't get window id 1. (-1728)", and get a blank rating in the menu bar (despite whatever is rated in iTunes).
i hope the developer can upgrade for Leopard - i'd pay for that! such a great little app - so small, unobtrusive, all you'd want for this function.

While the link above points to joshbuhler.com as being the developer's site, I'm not the developer - Matthew Handley is. All I've been doing is hosting a mirror of the file, since it seems to have disappeard from it's original location.

I've only had it for a few days, but it works well so far and doesn't seem to cause problems. I'm using 10.3.8.
Works fine, and modifiable

Someone was asking about being able to change the star / dot color... no problem. You can just change the graphic in the resources folder. Maybe not as easy as a preference change, but the simplicity of the app makes up for that lacking feature. Those that want to CAN make the change with little effort.
Shows the stars, lets you edit the stars. What more can you ask.

Very cool. Feature request

Very handy indeed. However, rather than having it display dots when nothing is playing in iTunes, how about it collapses to just an icon when iTunes isn't playing anything to save menubar space when not needed? If you click it while in icon form, perhaps it should present its menu (without need of control-click/right-click.)
Awesome!

Five stars. Well done, man! This is a great iTunes and Synergy companion. Like other reviewers, I'm simply too damn lazy to bother flipping back and forth to iTunes to assign ratings to the gajilion songs in my iTunes library, and too stupid to even remember the Synergy hot keys.
Here's the ONLY things I can recommend as a future tweak or feature addition.
1. Provide users with alternate ratings symbols; perhaps very tiny stars to save menubar space, or just small dots, or three stars over two?
2. Implement the option to colorize the stars ... especially if a rating is absent for a song. It would catch my eye to see a small red dot in the menubar to remind me to rate a song. The absence of stars isn't enough to capture my attention sometimes.
All in all, great job.
