I have not had the crashing problem the previous poster had. This is very useful for (for instance) removing AU Virtual Instruments from the list when using Peak, which cannot use VIs, or for testing new versions of AUs (or free- or shareware) in sequencers like Digital Performer or Garage Band. It is very easy to use, especially if one has used something like the old Conflict Catcher in OS 9 before. The saving of new sets is transparent, it will alert you if new AUs have been added to your collection and give you the opportunity to enable or disable the new AUs automatically. The only thing I'd like to see is a similar app for VSTs and RTAS plugins -- that would make my life easier all 'round.
A great utility for those of us who make music !

but each time I try to open it up it quits. How many bug reports can you send to Apple and where do they go? Who reads them?

it's a no brainer if you use Logic and I doubt DP has anything like this (isn't it only recently that MOTU decided to support AU?) ;)
