KnockOutDock ReviewLifesaver! Wish it worked in Leopard. - Version: 1.3, 9/2/2008 04:15PM PST

This application finally ended years of frustration with Apple's dock. I hate the dock, I don't want the dock, but on VERY rare occasions, I NEED the dock (like when I accidentally window-shade (Er, sorry "yellow ball") an application's window and it shrinks into the dock.

I absolutely rely on KnockOutDock to rid myself of the ever-popping-up dock.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work in Leopard.
PLEASE upgrade this to work with Leopard!!!

At last I can be rid of that dam thing, when I first got OSX I didn't mind the dock but it got more & more annoying, always getting in the way & popping up at the worst possible moment. I used Onyx to hide it under the top menubar but it still managed to rear it's ugly head now & then just to taunt me! I now use DragThing or FruitMenu, both work well, the latter being more
of a sexed-up Apple Menu if you like the OS9 vibe, or DragThing being exactly what the OSX dock SHOULD have been but never was.
