I have been using this for around a month and it is great. I have some feature requests, like the ability to import lists of stocks or the ability for it to pull the IBD 100, but other than that, it's a great start to what I am sure will become a fantastic product.
Nice Effort

I agree this is an impressive effort. For many investors the collection of data to begin analysis is time consuming. Much of the preliminary search analysis can be completed by this software based on criteria you set. Then take the subset of stocks that pop up in the "watches" and further set trend criteria. The user interface has some graphics problems while updating windows but it is passably functional. For those Mac users who understand the basics of stock analysis or are willing to learn this program certainly could be prove to be a useful tool. At this price compared to its power it is worth a try of the demo
The strength of this application is in it's algorithms, it is fairly well organized.
It presents a nice set of data and you can tell the person either understands the market technicals or is just an O'Neil worshipper as I think it probably works better in conjunction with a subscription to Investors Business Daily. . The "watchtowers" are kind of neat and make good sorting algorithms.
Overall it is a useful tool if you have some patience (it takes like 1.5 hours to download the data over cable modem) and it takes a few minutes to sort the information. However, when it is done is does make a decent screening tool. I am going to give it a -neutral- rating, it is functional but rough around the edges. If it drew it's own graphs, and was faster, It would definately be worth the money. However, I don't see any movement towards those goals at this point. I am not sure there aren't better tools out there.
