iStabilize CommentaryFiles produced by demo not recognized. - Version: 2.2.3, 4/19/2008 12:09PM PST

Tried the demo. Looked promising, BUT: the files it produced (HD) could not be recognized (and thus not loaded or used) by Final Cut Express 4. Too bad. So, people: try it out first!

iStabilize ReviewMust have been created by a real user. - Version: 2.2.1, 8/6/2006 10:02AM PST

This is so good almost all I can say is WOW. This works like I expect, Does what I expect and cost what I expect.
Except for the Extrapolate Margins, that is not quite useable for me but then I would want everything.
This is the "If you could only buy one item" that you get if you have any hand held video to work with, even some of my tripod long zoom bouncing is gone now.
I wish I had this for my last project.

This program is just great and I highly recommend it to all videomakers. I´ve mailed the company a few times and the response is quick, precise and very friendly

This program does what it says and does it with style. I have put in several hand-held shots from moving vehicle on dirt roads and it has stabilized them astonishingly well. It's also very fast giving immediate feedback. The ability to define different regions of stabilization within one clip allows you to handle videos with different types of motion. Highly recommended. (I am not sure if it does full interlaced output, but given how it managed to completely save a whole bunch of shots I'm not complaining. Excellent!)

I just ran a test using the demo on some pretty horrible handheld footage from a short film in progress, and I have to say it did more for this footage in 5 minutes than a days worth of After Effects tracking/stabilizing. Amazing results with no tweaking whatsoever! Think I might be buying this one...

What iStabilize purports to do sounds almost to good to be true. In those cases it usually is... That's why I'd like to know much more about input and output formats and (size?) limitations if applicable before I'll invest hours of selecting and lining up a collection of shaky clips to be able to give iStabilize a thorough trial run in the puny 30 days alotted . . .
I guess I'll have to wait for good reviews of those that can afford to invest that sort of time. I'm sorry, I can't.
