This was perfect for filling out my son's college application forms. Very easy to use, prints beautifully. I was considering getting a typewriter to fill out the various forms I encounter in business and personal life; now I don't need it.

White Wolf responded, which is good. What isn't good is that they confirmed my fear that it is indeed necessary to double-click on each individual text box to type in your entry. While the interface on FormMate is a bit nicer than Form Pilot and creating forms is a breeze, the extra time required to fill in long forms with multiple entries is a major downside for me. I suggest that the developer look at what Form Pilot has done and follow their lead to allow for simple tabbing between boxes and typing. No double-clicking necessary. Then, this would be the choice.
Can't fill in text boxes, and no reply from support. - Version: 1.3.4, 9/29/2006 03:11AM PST

I have just made my third attempt to contact White Wolf Software. No replies in two weeks of trying to ask a simple question of how to easily fill in the text boxes created by FormMate. To this app's credit, it is easier and faster to make the boxes than in Form Pilot, the other program that offers similar features. However, it seems the only way to fill in those boxes is to stop and use the mouse to click inside of the box, and then type your entry. With Form Pilot, after tabbing to a box all you do is type, then tab to the next and so on. Maybe there is a way to do this in FormMate, but since White Wolf hasn't replied to my inquiries, I don't know. If they reply to this one, I'll report back. Ii's a nice idea and might be okay, but the support issue is disconcerting. I find it hard to believe the other post that said a support request was returned in 20 minutes.
