Bashing might just be another word for suggestion.

- Version: 1.2, 7/1/2004 09:24AM PST
RBD2
After reading the developers comments, I re-downloaded, and spent another 20 minutes trying to make an example run. No luck. I see the examples, and can change them, but can not figure out how to make them run so I can see what they look like.
As the developer stated,,, I might have been able to see an example of what the results were if I would have spent quote "a couple of hours." But programs that take a "a couple of hours." just to run the example, should be posted in another forum. (It's named W i n d o w s)
Don't consider this bashing. The program may be fantastic, but just needs a couple of interface tweaks, or something as simple as a line of instruction that says...
"To see the example in action... Do this.???"
The Strength Mac applications since day 1 has always been their ability to be double click, use, and see result, immediately out of the box, with no instruction. (Imagine years ago opening the example painting of the robot in Mac Paint but not being able to even see the painting without spending 2 hours reading) We would all be living in a Windows world.

Where can I find documentation about ClockWorksMB - Version: 1.1, 5/31/2004 01:05AM PST

1. Website > http://homepage.mac.com/getclockworks
Take a tour.
2. When it is downloaded, Help menu and Tutorials
3. Examples on the website, and also those included in the download.
4. 50 examples, one for each Vignette, by dropping the Vignette in the Help box at bottom of Vignette Gallery.
Please avoid bashing without having at least spent a couple of hours with the application.
Regards, the developer.

The pulsing lines in the workspace (or whatever it is called) are very irritating
If you build a radical new interface that is the complete opposite of all familiar
interaction, you need to do serious early user testing. Believe me,I learnt the hard way a few years back....
