Product Description:

Wrapped in a nice iPhoto/iTunes-like interface, DVD Juggler allows you to browse your Movie and DVD collection. Integrated with DVD Player.app and the Finder you can play your movies right from the browser! Tightly coupled with Amazon.com, DVD Juggler allows you to add information about you DVDs from the internet.

What's new in this version:

Fixed problem with roles.
Fixed scrolling bug with the Movie Browser.
Slightly decreased the amount of space that Library file takes up.
Improved paths. It is now possible to play any of the paths associated with an item in the Library.

Fixed problem with descriptions loading incorrectly from Amazon.
Fixed but with On Loan to text field.
Added Borrowed From and Due Dates.

Apart commercial DVDs I like to record myself movies, documentaries and reports broadcast by TV stations. Often I squeeze a couple of recorded items (till 10 short reports!) all related to the same subject on one single DVD-R. Is DVDJuggler the best tool to keep track of all my recorded stuff? Thanks!

It's a useful app and I appreciate it being freeware. There are a few interface quirks, but it's easy enough to use.

On my 1.33 GHz 12" Powerbook (768 RAM) it slowed to a crawl after entering 45 DVD's (just the info, no movie files). There is a 5-10 second lag when browsing through the library from record to record.

I would also like to see an option to set (in my case) Amazon.ca as the default for pulling info.
