I've been using this less and less since podcast have been proliferating but I still need it for some NPR program (especially Car TalK). What I'd find useful would be if it were able to wake my computer from sleep. Without that feature, I either have to leave it on all the time (wasting precious energy) or use the System Preferences>Energy Saver>Schedule, but that only has 1 on/off timer.

I used it to download some old 80's hits to go along with the 10GB of ripped music I had from my own CDs. Sound quality is not as nice as the CDs, but I would assume that. This application works very well.

Try RealPlayer/WMP/WireTap with either QuicKeys or Applescript/Applescript-GUI-scripting for scheduling.
RadioRecorder is a handy utility. Allows me to listen to selected streamed data when it's convenient for me.

This works well with any station that iTunes can stream. I'm wondering if there is a similar utility that can automatically record Real Player or Windows Media Player format streams. iTunes can't play those formats and currently I rely on WireTap to grab those shows, but I need to be there to start the recording.

Oleg keeps improving this app and it works better all the time. The tracks get split properly, it correctly splits artist and title into the right fields in iTunes, the scheduling works, it deletes incomplete downloads and short files (such as promos)... I'm a happy camper indeed. Oleg is also great as answering questions and fixing bugs. Try this app, it's quite good.
