I have an Intel Mac and would like to try out this software. However, to obtain the Intel version, I must pay $40 before I can download. That's nuts! Why would I pay for something when I can't even see what it does before I pay?
I think the developer needs to provide a time-limited demo version.

I've been using iFamily. For an inexpensive and intuitive interface for genealogy, it can't be beat. This is created by someone who, while he may have some interest in genealogy, has no idea of basic software design and interface guidelines.
Stay away.
