I couldn't download it - Version: 0.2, 9/28/2006 10:23AM PST

This has been a day of disappointments. I've been looking for a way to add the date to the menu bar, and I thought I had found the solution--twice! Unfortunately, when I clicked the DOWNLOAD button on the first program, I only got a message from its creator saying that he had removed the program. Now, when I tried to download this program, I was only taken to another screen where I was asked to choose among the many different selections and then submit. I didn't understand it at all.
Finally! The date in the menubar!

Hurray! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I could never understand why Apple never included such a simple but useful facility in their date/time code. It works great for me, Suggestions for next release, allow the year to be optional (it takes upo valuable menubar space and we all know the year - hopefully anyway), and offer as an option the 3 charachter abbreviation for the month (Jan, Feb, etc.) instead of the numeric month. This little hack made my day...uh, er, date!
