Product Description:

Fish is an aquarium simulator. It allows you to add fish to an underwater environment and customize them.

Fish show complex behavior. You can feed them, see its evolution as they grow, breed, use different cameras to track them, and save different aquariums for later usage. Fish can be shared with others over the local network using Rendezvous.

What's new in this version:

Fish Lay eggs! They take some time to hatch... And need to be fed immediatly when born!
Added a new Species, Blue Discus.
Added animation checkbox; Fish animation can be turned off now to reduce CPU usage.
Increased max-fish to 90. This can be heavy on CPU, turn off animation to make it run smoother.
Hopefully fixed problems with launching the under non-roman paths
Fixed problems with User-Name parsing... And saving to file. (even non-roman?)
Localized non-nib strings, see "Localizable.strings" files under each "Language.lproj" folder
Fixed a bug that where Rendezvous-imported fish had a 0 radius BoundingBox.
Fixed a rare bug when importing Rendezvous Fish on a new created Aquarium.

Pros: The fish look very nice for freeware. It that its 3D. Cons: The 3D plants look unrealistic to the point of being irritating (developers: please use more polygons and/or splines if a good graphics card is available!). The depth of the fish should be constrained to prevent most from being tiny. Overall, very nice for freeware, but not a replacement for more realistic shareware.

This is a truly wonderful aquarium. It allows you to set it following a single fish through the others (I like the discus) and this is very relaxing and cuts down on eye strain. The fish are not meant to be utterly picture perfect realism, to me that makes it better, or I could watch a film of a tank. You can set the metabolism for fish to die or always live. You can ever adjust the amount of plants etc, and chose many fish. I give it fulll stars - certainly worth downloading to see, and if you have another tank this will be a wonderfully different option.
I would have donated but the pay-pal is in Spanish! Someone tell the makers a lot of people might donate is he put pay-pal in ENGLISH!!

I'm not very enthusiastic about "Fish": its usability lacks transparency, and the aquarium and fishes are not very realistic; the most annoying part being the fact that the fish "eat" the food without even touching it....
Too approximative looks. Quite a pity! The basic idea is nice...
