I've always liked Stattoo but never really used it for long period of time because simply it can't run in the background. I switch between apps frequently when I'm working and frankly I don't need another icon to clutter up the option-tab bar. Not only that, it would be fantastic if Stattoo could be visible at all times.

The mail capsule now works flawlessly with my Earthlink account. Sweet!
The new RSS module is really well.
I like this little app a lot. More subtle than Dashboard (and it always on, no switching to another layer to see the info).

I earlier reported that it OS X 10.4.5 broke the capsule transparency feature. But I just discovered that changing the desktop background to something else (and back again if you wish) fixed it.
So if you find that the Statto display is misbehaving after upgrading to OS X 10.4.5, just do what I did.
