I just want something that'll remind me to go something else, since I so easily lose track of time when I'm at the computer, so I tried AlarmX.
For such a small and simple program, the disappointments were many: Its default date is January 1 2004, and you can't just type in the desired date and time; you have to pull down menus. With that set-up, I'd like the program to at least open to today's date. Also, I can't set an alarm time for less than an hour ahead.
A big plus for allowing time, not just date, to be set.
A big minus for the set alarm never going off...

If simply double-clicking a user program causes a kernel panic, that's a bug/corruption in the operating system, not the program.

As for a Timer, that's coming in version 2.1, which I'm working overtime to make it work.
