epcThey seem to listen to customer suggestions and feedback. Support is adequate, although not excellent. I'm looking forward to future releases, and hope that this will become my 5-star contact management program. At the moment it still feels unfinished.
Admittedly, I have not used this app for a long time. It was recently offered at approximately 50% off on maczot.com, and I bought it during that offer. I would not pay full price for it.
Like all to many CRM apps, on both windows and mac, it forces you to "think like it works" instead of "working like you think." Let me give you an example. I want to schedule a phone call. I have to do that by creating a new task with the type being set to "call." When, on the scheduled day, I see the task to call, I have to open up that task and then, in a different window, open up the contact so I can see what phone number to dial. Then, I have to go back to the task window to mark the call complete. Then, I have to go through completely different steps to schedule a follow up call, task, or event.
Note that there may be a much more simple way to do that, but that brings to light another one of the app's weaknesses--lack of documentation. It has a help file that I would describe as "ok," but there is nothing that really shows or tells you how to use the application. In the developers' own forums, they admit that it takes years to learn to fully use the application. The requests for a manual or even a wiki that I saw in the forums were met with responses similar to "we're too busy."
I should point out that CP can integrate with your bluetooth phone, but the developers won't say which phones it is fully compatible with and what features work on which phones. After reading the responses to the support forums, I really feel like the developers' attitude can be summed up as "shut up and learn to use the app yourself."
For the reasons listed above, I must refrain from recommending this application, especially to people, like me, in sales.
