I've been missing InEffects ever since I moved up to IDCS2. Won't debate the outer glow, but for what I use it - mostly to separate type a little from an underlying image - it works fine. This update is most welcome. The next issue of our magazine will look better because of it.
Outer Glow effect is poor

So you are one of the people I should blame. I was very interested in this products ability to create outer glows, so I downloaded the demo to test it. Most of the features of this plugin work well, but the feature I would have purchased this plugin for, does not. Outer Glows are very poor, they give a uneven glow around text and the effect controls do not improve this. Back to Photoshop for this!!

I've been beta-testing InEffects for the last several months, and was impressed with it from the start. Now, it's finally available to all. InEffects brings Photoshop-style control to things like drop shadows, bevels and emboss, and inner and out glows all within Adobe InDesign.
