MailSafe light is a full featured easy to use email server based on the existing enterprise mail server from Solido Systems. It will eventually include a native MacOS X interface for all administrative tasks.

What's new in this version:

Build 227 adds functionality to setup domains from the service administrator application. Furthermore, MailSafe can now be installed through a graphical point-n-click installer.

Actually, in seconds. No bells and whistles (perhaps there are if you know Terminal commands) but this app relayed email on the first try. Installation was fast and eay. I have not tried relaying mail from outside my domain but suspect it will work equally as well.

Looking at the web site, is this just a POP3 server? It doesn't mention the capabilities of the software, in particular IMAP.

I don't see anything addressing possible security issues on the product pages. The name may be MailSafe, but what can assure me that running this isn't going to turn my machine into an open spam relay?
