SoundandLights I CommentaryGOOD CLEAN FUN - Version: 1.2, 8/30/2007 01:40PM PST

There are in fact at least 8 SoundandLights screen larks, which can be found at many sites on the Web, but I remember one Softpedia site had all but one in one place. It would be nice for version tracker to do the same. They are:
1) Light bulb and switch - useful to write notes without a lamp.
2) Medical Cabinet - complete with eery thunderstorm
3) Moon and stars
4) Sunset and cricket sounds
5) A lift, seem from inside.
6) Electric switch with Dr Frankenstein sound effects.
7) Man watching TV in his flat as we peer in from outside
8) A woman's face with strange flickering eyes.
I keep them to click on in the left hand of my iMac screen. They remind me of the old Trade Test colour films on BBC 2, and I already feel nostalgia towards them. My favourites are 1,2,6,8. To exit screen drag mouse to left hand corner for EXIT. Well done to Albert Lange for an interesting bit of good clean fun.

I've always enjoyed this program but this one doesn't do anything at all on a G4100 dual OS 10.4.8. At least I can quit it!

SoundandLights I ReviewA true lifesaver - Version: 1.2, 4/8/2007 09:37PM PST

I was in an extended power outage… none of my neighbors had any light at all and many did not have a flash light or anything. By using this program I was able to carry a light around that I could turn on and off. Without this program who knows how many people would have fallen down stairs, tripped over randomly scattered onions (common in some places, you know!), and otherwise risked injury or death. A true life saver. This program has even inspired me to get a laptop - certainly would be easier than carrying around my tower and dual 24 inch CRT monitors! Anyone know if current laptops are powerful enough to run this program? What type performance should I expect?
