Product Description:

TabletMagic is an open-source driver for older-model serial Wacom tablets. Supported models are those starting with SD, UD, KT, CT, GD, and PL. (ET support is in development.) Includes a preference pane to enable, configure, and test the tablet.


ADB tablets will not be supported due to technical limitations beyond our control.

What's new in this version:

  • Improved status display in the preference pane
  • Improved support for PL (Cintiq) tablets
  • Fixed a presets bug that could lock up the preference pane
  • Kill Daemon now politely asks the daemon to quit
  • Made command replies more visible in the Testing tab
  • Pressure is now correctly handled in the scratch-pad
  • Fixed some mapping and geometry issues
  • Improved handling of multiple screens

you mentioned that you started this project because of your ArtZ-II tablet. Is this tablet supported in your TabletMagic software? i looked but i could not find any information on this model. thank you.

Very nice, now works well with GD-1212-R, a dream come true as I could not afford a new tablet that size at the moment - I thought I was going to have to go down to an A5 or A6. Nice to have the oversized A4 going instead.

I downloaded and installed this on OSX 10.4.8 G5 dual 2.0MHz in the hope that it might resurrect my Trust 1200 Wireless tablet for which the Trust site states that there is no OSX driver. Although the wireless mouse now works, Tablet Magic does not see my (wrong brand?) tablet.
Any hints or suggestions to encourage it to see my tablet would be appreciated.
