1,3 upgrade seems to kill some third party plug ins. Xblaze for instance no longer works with this version.

As can be seen from the very long change list, this is a pretty big upgrade that adds lots of features, fixes lots of bugs, and makes a lot of UI refinements. One of my favorite new features is the upgraded MSN library, which, among other changes, adds support for personal messages.
Still looking forward to a/v features being added, and the documentation could stand a lot of improvement (yes, I'm one of those folks who actually reads the docs...) but other than that, Adium is great.

This version will not connect to my accounts and appears to have deleted my existing ones...

...and have only had to revert to an older version once (1.2.3ish would crash). I let Adium update itself and only the one problem in almost 2 years of use.
Can't wait for AdiumX 2.0.

Adium was recommended by a friend when I bought my MacBook. This client is great overall. Unfortunately, I saw some bug appeared on the newer version of Adium. My current and last stable version of Adium is 1.1. Yeah for the next, I will just read the comments here until finding a version without any complain from you guys :) Thanks for the feedback anyway.

I let the application do it's own update... when it was finished it wouldn't let me sign in. It kept looping over and over asking me if it could be part of my Yahoo chain.
I downloaded a fresh version from here and it seems to be working fine now.
Unfortunately Adium still can't connect to the Yahoo chat rooms. There is a pulldown menu, for chat rooms, but it needs a room name... so, how does one get that? Am I doing something wrong?

I upgraded to 1.2.6 and Adium works for a short time then suddenly starts disconnecting and reconnecting my jabber account, over and and over again. The only way to fix is to quit and restart adium. In my console log I see:

To make matters worse, the Adium forum seems to be down so no way to check if other users are reporting.

I am interested in this product as I would like to be logged on to AIM and Gtalk at the same time and iChat uses separate windows for this (unless I am doing something wrong which could be the case). However, I have gotten file not found for the past 3 days attempting to get this download.
