Minuteur - 4.5.3

Minuteur is a timer/stopwatch app.

There are three different ways of setting the alarm time:

• Drag the rule with the mouse. Press Command or Option to move the rule more quickly. Press Shift to "snap" to each 30 seconds, minute or 5 minutes according to the position of the rule.
• Control click (or right click) on the rule to open a contextual menu of preset times.
• Type the time from the keyboard directly. You can type from 1 to 6 digits. Example: Type "30" for 30 seconds, type "230" or "0230" for 2 minutes 30 seconds. Type "23000" for 2 hours 30 minutes. The timer is limited to 12 hours.

It is possible to drag the rule at all times, even while the timer is running. Moving the rule does not modify the preset time. The last time set is memorized only if it was entered via the keyboard or the contextual menu.

To start a countdown with the preset time period - as shown on the counter - click on the green (second right) button. To stop the countdown prematurely click on the red (right hand) button.

You can also pause and resume by clicking the central button (yellow) or by choosing the menu item Options>Pause.

If you type a new time, it is immediately set and memorized, and the countdown starts. If the pause was activated, it is cancelled.

As the time expires, you are informed by four pips followed by the selected alarm sound. To stop the alarm you can press Return, Enter, Space or Escape, or click on the red button.
