This isn't the kind of gibberish that a user should be subjected to. "An exception of class OutOfBoundsException was not handled. The application must shut down." Minuteur = FAIL

This program is great, with many features and options to configure for use as a timer and a stopwatch. The support from the developer is outstanding. I encountered a memory error with the PPC version and the developer worked closely with me to quickly find a solution-most impressive! While Minuteur is not free like some timers, it does so much more and is well worth the price.

Am I the only person having this problem? Whichever link I use--VersionTracker's (including "alternate" link) or the developer's--I keep getting 4.7.2, not 5.0.1. And I see no mention of 5.0.1 on the developer's site. I've stopped trying to download the new version till I see evidence that you can actually get it.

not only has the developer been very responsive and implementing many of my requests, the graphic countdown bar, the quality and facility for spoken warmings at countdown, dual screen functionality, great quality announcements, good voice quality, all of that has made Minuteur my preferred countdown timer for the seminars/workshops that we give at management schools worldwide.
Class after class have enjoyed both the functionality, both the audio over the university PA as the video indicators, over the data projection (with the control window on my screen (MBP17). Rock solid as well. Outstanding !

... download the freeware 3-2-1 widget, which is the best timer, or the freeware menu bar Alarm Clock application which contain a timer as well as the best alarm clock.

I've been a user of Minuteur for over a year. I tried over 9 others before finding this, and it's just perfect. Small footprint. I use it daily to remind myself to call someone back, or check the dryer, or go to an appointment, or go exercise. All sorts of things that I might otherwise forget to do.

When I was using 10.3, I discovered this product and loved it. It's minimal, reliable and has a nice clean design with just enough customizability.
However, there's a problem in the newer version: when you have the volume turned off and the timer counts down, the program prompts you to locate growlhelper.app. Instead of flashing or turning the screen dark, that's all it does.
When the volume is on, this problem goes away and the alarm rings and flashes as usual. So I always use it with the sound on.
If that small problem could be fixed, 5 stars!

Wanting a simple timer to remind me when other jobs were due, I download a selection and this came up tops for neatness, features and useability. (Works well in 10.2.8.)
Lacks documentation, but is pretty intuitive in operation.

Minuteur is always the appliuaction I prefer when I want to time an operation or run a countdown. I've been using every new release for well over a year now and have never had a problem. Currently using it on 10.3.9 and 10.4.7 and finding it solid, elegant and fun. A thoroughly well crafted application with a delightful sense of style. Full marks all round!
If you're getting the OutOfBoundsException error, try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/Minuteur and running the program again.
