Product Description:

Minuteur is an egg timer and a stopwatch. The intention was to have a timer which is simple and immediate in use. Minuteur is also very flexible and extremely configurable. Particular attention has been paid to the ergonomics of the programme. The basic functionality of Minuteur is intuitive enough to be used right from the start.

To set the timer quickly, type the required delay on the numeric keypad. To set a period of 30 minutes, type "3000" (for 30 minutes, 0 seconds). Type "300000" for 3 hours, or just "30" for 30 seconds. The countdown starts immediately.

To set the alarm to go off at a specific time, hold Option/Alt and type the time in the format "hhmm".

To start the stopwatch, hold Option/Alt and press Enter.

To make the most of the deeper features however, you should spend a few minutes reading the help.

What's new in this version:

Now, Minuteur don't require Finder and can be used with PathFinder without Finder relaunch.
Added keyboard time adjustment:

I've been using Minuteur since it was still a freeware app, and I've loved it ever since. I must use it several times every day, for tracking tasks, for making sure to get ready on time, etc. This is definitely one of my "must haves".

If you're getting the OutOfBoundsException error, try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/Minuteur and running the program again.

This isn't the kind of gibberish that a user should be subjected to. "An exception of class OutOfBoundsException was not handled. The application must shut down." Minuteur = FAIL

This program is great, with many features and options to configure for use as a timer and a stopwatch. The support from the developer is outstanding. I encountered a memory error with the PPC version and the developer worked closely with me to quickly find a solution-most impressive! While Minuteur is not free like some timers, it does so much more and is well worth the price.
