Product Description:

This application is an extension to "Your Mac Life", an internet based radio show about the Macintosh Computer. This app takes features from the website such as:

  • Direct links to home page, archives, and forums.
  • Direct links to Sly's website of the week, and Weekly Links.
  • One click access to live broadcast video and audio streams.
  • Links to sponsors

HOW TO USE Simply open iYML. You can click on the "Archive Stream" tab and listen to the most recent broadcast. iYML also has links to various parts of the Your Mac Life website. If you'd like to see Sly's Website of the week, simply click "YML Web" in the "General" tab and click "Sly's Website of the Week" from the pull down menu. Send Shawn an e-mail in the "E-Mail" menu, or to the on-air e-mail address in your default e-mail program. The most important thing you can do with iYML is enter the monthly contests by clicking "Monthly Contest Entry". It automatically places "Month Prize Draw" in the subject line, so all you have to do is click send. You do need an e-mail program such as "Mail" or "Microsoft Entourage" to use that feature.

What's new in this version:

  • Addition of new U2 special edition iPod and iPod Photo archive iPods.
  • Fixed a few interface bugs

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

To those that don't know YML. It is an interesting mac radio show (which I listen to regularly). The App is a handy way at getting to parts associated and related to the show. If you are interested to get to those then fine it is a good download. If you are going to whine about it relevance then either investigate the show and associated website manually. Else kindly blow wind elsewhere. If you use the App and there are flaws, then you are the people I am interested in hearing from.

I’d like to thank the developer for this app. WoW guess I’m a real geek now. ;-)

IMVHO--As for the rudeness of show critiques here , vs. application feedback-- their loss if they cannot find anything of interest. Not every show has topics i am interested in; however, listening has opened up new *aspects* for me to consider, which I would not have had elsewhere. Developers and other “Industry Leaders“, for example, are frequent visitors and supply invaluable insight.

AppleBeer, this is the second instance in the last 24 hours where I've seen posts from you complaining about how difficult it is to understand a clear description of an application and how that is keeping you from even downloading a FREE product. I see a pattern here... maybe it's not the developer's fault the descriptions aren't clear to you. Maybe if you stop sucking down the suds your motivation for exploring free software will rise to the point where you no longer have to complain in a public forum about it.

Put down the brew and step away from the keyboard.
