we need a universal binary, since the ac3 component won't load on mactel machines... sure, i could start in rosetta modus, but that's not really an option for me, especially considering that HDTV divx files are VERY processor intensive and won't run smooth under rosetta...
please please please update the ac3 component to universal binary, i know it's a lot of work, but the divx guys did their part, so it would be great if yoy guys followed in getting this great component up to universal binary;-)

I'm not sure what version is actually downloading from this page, but it has a newer creation date than the one at the 0.4b link provided by

I assume that by burning it with iDVD on my G5 - it will be the same result once I load the disc in my dvd player? no sound?
sucks to have to go from QT Pro to lower version for this. I guess ill just watch on VLC.
