Product Description:

TrailBlazer is a proof-of-concept browser that solves the problem of getting back to a web page you've been to before, but didn't have the forethought to bookmark. The current solutions provided by most web browsers, their history menu, is just a list of titles and web addresses which aren't memorable enough to be useful.
The actual solution used by most people, is to retrace their own steps through different links until they find they page they are looking for. Our software solution provides the user with a graphical representation of the steps they took from page to page, such that they can simply click to their final destination page.
TrailBlazer was developed by MacWarriors and released at the University of Illinois' Engineering Open House 2004.

LOVE the history feature but that is the only special thing about this browser, currently. I like the direction they are going in but be forwarned, this IS still an early beta; not all web site work properly. Something cool to play with but still needs a lot of work. Great start though. I will be keeping an eye on this one for the next 6-12 months.

I wish Apple could get inspired by this. On the other hand: the toolbar icons are very ugly. Can't someone do some nice icons for them?

The Memory Hole

While the browser itself is nothing too special, the way it shows the browser history is a great idea. Hopefully this idea (or at least something similar) will catch on. Good work.

Note to developers: please add tabbed browsing.
