Although the developer has said Winswitch is compatible with Intel based Macs under Rosetta, it doesn't work.

Downloaded and installed yesterday on a new 20" 2Ghz Intel iMac. Winswitch failed to activate itself.

WinSwitch CommentaryWIll not load at startup in Tiger - Version: 3.1, 5/8/2005 01:29PM PST

Although 3.1 works fine if you manually load WinSwitch.menu, it will not persist through restarts and must be loaded each time in Tiger. I hope a fix is soon coming.

I get the following trying to access the site (Tiger/Safari)...

Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “http://winswitch.wincent.com/”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.

Any suggestions

I just love it when an application works perfectly with myy Mac and WinSwitch is exactly that. It makes switching users so easy. I installed it and it worked perfectly the first time. This is a "gotta install" application!

A great app. Apple should include this in Tiger.

.... every time I use a Mac that doesn't have it. This implementation of FUS is truly superior to Apple's own.

Just got around to upgrading from version 1.5 -- the new hot key to activate FUS is an excellent addition! Overall very well done... Apple should beg, borrow, or steal (gee, I wonder which one they'll choose...) to get this into Tiger.
