Screenshot Helper CommentaryJust one thing... - Version: 0.3, 10/13/2004 04:31AM PST

I just wish it supported multiple monitors (where you can have it cover either monitors desktop or even both)... then I'd be loving this thing.

Screenshot Helper ReviewExcellent! I use it instead of virtual desktops! - Version: 0.3, 4/4/2004 02:01PM PST

As others have pointed out you can use this simple application to be a virtual desktop. You can turn the menu bar and dock into rollover items and have a completely clean screen, bringing to the front any running apps by using the dock as a switcher. I've quit using a commercial virtual desktop app in favor of this simple and elegant solution. That doesn't begin to mention the utility of taking screen shots on a simple background for tutorials.

Just found out that it's Exposé-friendly, hehe. One feature I'd like to see in the next version is the transparency control to make screenshots look even cooler. Thanks.

Does what it says, and very simple. I used to open a big blank Finder window to make a claen screenshot. Cool!

It works just fine, hiding my cluttered desktop. And you can change applications (without which it would be useless, of course) and even desktop pictures. And I can think of other uses besides taking screen shots.
