Product Description:

Ikonoklast is a small AppleScript to get rid of wrong or damaged file and folder icons (a bug in Panther's Finder) by the click of a button (until the next occurence).

This script just deletes the file com.apple.finder.plist in the current user's Preferences folder und then relaunches the Finder. You'll need to re-edit Finder's view options after running.

Why did I write this poor little script? Well, it's very pesky when you need to go to the Preferences folder nearly every day to delete the concerning file and restart, for this icon problem is pretty persistent.

Version 0.0.5 fixes the "connection invalid" issue.

A simple tool which does what it promises to - it fixes corrupt icons, and they can be really annoying. It is just a little script, which deletes com.apple.finder.plist file, so it is suitable for beginners who do not know what to delete to fix icons.
