Product Description:

n Rally Shift you get to drive high performance rally cars on a variety of rally courses. Compete against hard to beat computer drivers on both dirt roads and paved roads through forests, windy mountain passes and desert. Two players can also compete against each other on the same computer.

Rally Shift features very realistic physics where you can put your driving skills to the test. Slide through turns on dirt roads, brake and accelerate at the right moment to keep your car on the road or you will see your competitors speed away.

Rally Shift is released with an initial 5 tracks ranging from country forrest to mountain and desert. More tracks and upgrades will be released later as free downloads.

What's new in this version:

  • Evening and night time driving conditions. 3D trees. Rain and fog weather conditions.
  • Includes a new car. AI difficulty setting. Fixed crasher when ending a race and sound effects were turned off. Gas pedal also on mouse button when using the mouse.
  • Fixed compatibility with some wheel controllers reporting negative values.
  • A number of other tweaks and improvements.

Please tell me you're coming out with those new tracks we were promised! The old ones are, well, old -- and when I can win every race handily, you KNOW it's time for some upgrades ;-)

Great racer..registered immediately..however there are a couple of requests/suggestions : Fastest time board would be cool. Less CPU drain would be cool. Comptability with most video cards for Dusk/Night would be most appreciated.
Otherwise this game has great potential on OSX.

Looks like a lot of work went into this and it looks really good! I haven't played it much yet but I'm impressed. Would love to see network support.
