is that really a saver that does its job ? I dont think so. The purpose of a saver is to display random or moving stuff: this saver is purely static. So, I agree its fun to watch it a few minutes, making jokes, .. but regarding its screen saver possibilities, I find it completely useless.

As a prank, it's first rate. Or at least, I fell for it right away and poked the reset button before even trying to move the mouse. D'oh! My roommate felt pretty guilty when I started to complain that my machine was suddenly panicking out of the blue and I had been restarting over and over. What fun. :)
Needs custom text option.. - Version: 0.1, 3/27/2004 12:28PM PST

Yeah, awesome prank for April Fool's. I agree, we need to be able to enter our own text to customize the errors....like the i-d-10-t error and all that fun stuff!
HAHAHA!

One star for implementation (System Preferences crashed when I clicked the Preview button even though I read that it doesn't yet work) and ten stars for pure wacky deranged fun. So there ya go. I was going to email you, Zac, but I'm too lazy.

What happens when a helpful person sees that your computer has had a kernel panic and hits the reset button for you while you're out making coffee?
Potentially dangerous.
Yeah, OK, but still funny! LOL

I haven't had a kernal panic ever since 10.0 (or maybe it was 10.1), but I remember command lines breaking into my screen. It's a funny idea, although it would be great if the author can bring this to the next step and allow the user to customize the message, that way, we can use it as an April Fool's joke.
For those of you who may be too lazy to read the readme, preview and test do not work. Best to try it out with the sleep corner.
