Product Description:

Eudora Google is a script for quickly initiating Google searches within Eudora. The script should be placed in the scripts folder within the Eudora package and can be accessed directly from the Scripts menu in Eudora or via a button on the menu bar. Activating the script will automatically initiate a search within the default web browser of the selected text. If text is not selected, a dialog box will appear for the user to enter the words to search. (note that I added an alternate link for the sitx file I had before and made the primary link a dmg file)

Eudora Google CommentaryIt's a slightly different function - Version: 1.0, 3/24/2004 10:52AM PST

Thanks everyone for your comments thus far. I was unaware that Google could be searched on text with that command, that is very nice. While this does that too, it will work for those that don't remember it by clicking on the Google logo. Also, often you might be in an email and think that you want to search on something, so you can click the button or issue the command and type in what you want to search for. I believe that the base code I used was from Eudora (noted in the code) and if you don't like Google, you can change it to another site. I may create a new one for another site.

shift-cmd-L searches google for the selected text in lots of apps now.
Amazing how fast it is, too. I've noticed lots of new services in the services submenu of the application menu since upgrading to 10.3.3
