Product Description:

GL Golf is a realistic 3D game for the casual gamer. With a realistic physics system and great simple graphics, you and up to four players can golf all 360 holes for countless hours. Everything in a real game of golf is included, such as water hazards, sand traps, trees, bushes, wind, different seasons of play, and a driving range. Other great features include both an internet and individual high score list, game saving, great music, iTunes controls, 3 difficulty modes, mulligans, game logging, the ability to choose your set of clubs, and much more.

Try the 6 hole demo course for free, and then register to unlock all of the course. GL Golf is constantly being upgraded by the developer, and you can expect new improvements every month for FREE, and new courses at least four times a year!

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed a major glitch where the ball would sometimes float on or be buried in the grass
  • Fixed a bug where the course name and description wouldn't always show up in the main menu
  • Fixed a bug which could cause the random 18 holes to crash
  • Added hole pars and yardages to the preview and score screen

Look, I'm the first person to applaud and support people who make games for the Mac. But I just can't get behind GL Golf. I'm sorry, but it's honest. It's been around for a long time, so clearly the author has put a lot of effort into it, but the game is horrible.

My recommendation is to spend $10 more and buy Tiger Woods for you PS/2, PS/3 or Xbox.

This game is amazing.... I would recommend it to everyone who has a mac. I love playing a few rounds when I get a chance every now and then. All the courses are unique and fun in there own way. I was playing a course and made a 200 yard shot for an eagle and my boyfriend was shocked.....it is also pretty cool that the developer releases a new course every 3 months if you have the subscription pack.

Also, the feature that you can use iTunes (if you have it) to listen to whatever music you would like is great. And the replay feature is a great feature as well. There are so many great things about game... it is well worth the price.
