Product Description:
GarageSale is a certified client application for the eBay online auction system. It allows Mac OS X users to create auctions quickly using an intuitive mac-like interface, integrates with iPhoto and offers WYSIWYG text editing.
What's new in this version:
- added 'Ingore' function for indiviudal warnings and messages from eBay
- added checkbox for limiting FTP uploads to a single connection
- added 'Don't Show Again' option for 'Free Shipping' warning panel
- GarageSale's own XML import format now supports shipping services
- when using the Endicia client the auction title gets transferred to the shipment's description field
- adds support for Value Pack listing enhancement on eBay Australia
- supports 21 day fixed price car listings on eBay Motors US (requires BIN option)
- 'Now and New' Option is now available on eBay France
- removed support for German and British eBay Express sites
- now longer offers money transfer payment option on eBay Germany
- fixed problems with layout 'Thumbnails Left' in various designs
- fixed a problem that caused the 'Crop' filter in GarageSale's built-in editor to crop the wrong selection
- fixed issue where AppleScript's wouldn't terminate correctly when used to start auctions
- fixed issue where GarageSale would not switch to new auction after successful auction start

This alone is a deal breaker for me, I just downgraded to 3.4 but will probably switch to Auctiva for my casual needs. They got my $40 originally but not another cent to them! I've had some issues but as a casual user its just not worth the money for a bunch of gaudy templates and "features" that really don't do alot.

It would have been courteous to warn me that I was going to have to PAY for this upgrade before installing it over my old version.The price is fair but that's not the point.

Today I downloaded and installed GarageSale 4.0 via their software update utility in Garage Sale 3.4. Unfortunately I over look that it was a paid update. Probably because in all my years working with software venders I've never come across an instance where a developer as used their software update utility to push a "pay-for-upgrade."
Their tech support office recommended that I down grade to 3.4.3. This solution is unacceptable because it means that I'll loose all of my past work. Let's hope they make good on their dissipative download practice.
