Product Description:

Our software currently offers desktop remote control and mobile MP3 music streaming. The desktop remote control module allows a single user to control a remote desktop with up to 9 additional users viewing the same desktop. Our music streaming module allows you to listen to your iTunes library on Macintosh OS X or your Music folder on Windows from a Palm OS device from anywhere. Our application is named AstroApp and is free to download and try out. To start using the software create a free AstroCity login username from within the software and then connect to others using the FriendsList. Information about the mobile MP3 music streaming can be found under the Mobile MP3 section.

What's new in this version:

  • Now you can add up to 10 directories that contain music for streaming to your Palm OS device.
  • With the one time fee of $20 for "Lifetime Music Streaming" you get access to preferred artists with three new artists added per week starting with Madonna, Smashing Pumpkins and Nickelback.

    As it is stated in the price tag, this software costs (at least) $10.00. Thus, it shall not be listed as a freeware.

    I have been unable to boot AstroView or AstroShare on Mac OS X 10.1.5 or 10.2.8. I wrote to Astroflower's tech support and heard back that the latest version of each has not yet been tested on these versions of MOSX and may indeed be incompatible. There are known issues with 10.3.x below 10.3.9. Write to them if you have similar incompatibility problems: <bugs@astroflowersoftware.com>
