Why are you paying for a shared desktop, when VNC is cross platform and free?

AstroAppX CommentaryProbably incompatible with MOSX below 10.3.9 - Version: 1.54, 11/2/2005 08:22PM PST

zunipus
I have been unable to boot AstroView or AstroShare on Mac OS X 10.1.5 or 10.2.8. I wrote to Astroflower's tech support and heard back that the latest version of each has not yet been tested on these versions of MOSX and may indeed be incompatible. There are known issues with 10.3.x below 10.3.9. Write to them if you have similar incompatibility problems: <bugs@astroflowersoftware.com>

AstroAppX ReviewWorks great! - Version: 1.38, 12/2/2004 08:30AM PST

I'm using it to access my Mac at home from my Windows computer at work and it works great! No problems at all. If your having problems I suggest you make sure the ports your using are not closed on your firewall. I'm going to register this software soon. I think it's worth the 20$. It's cheaper then upgrading another software that I paied much much more for and basically does the same thing. Control another computer remotely.

AstroAppX ReviewSemi-Functional Processor Hog - Version: 1.22, 5/21/2004 01:48PM PST

Well, both the client and server each utilize about 35% of my 1GHz processor, and neither will quit when asked politely. They have to be forced.

Me thinks this product isn't quite ready for prime time yet.

AstroAppX ReviewMy name is not Bill!! - Version: 1.12, 3/19/2004 04:59AM PST

I tried to launch AstroShare, but it just refuses to start up. So, I launched the program in Terminal to see what was going on, and this is what I found out:

dyld: /Applications/AstroShareMacX.app/Contents/MacOS/AstroShareMacX can't open library: /Users/Bill/AstroShareMacX/build/AstroShareMacX.build/AstroShareMacX.build/Objects-normal/ppc/libstdc++_ZeroLink.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

Trace/BPT trap

As you can see, it tries to open a file in Bill's account. What a bug!!

AstroAppX Commentarylooks like binary files are corrupted or so - Version: 1.12, 3/18/2004 11:29PM PST

jpmilin
The files to be downloaded are too small (16k) to be useful.
When launched on a mac, the programs (astroshare or astroview)
crash, which is not surprising ...
Either there was a problem uploading the files, or the whole stuff
is just crap.
