Product Description:

SiteSucker is a Macintosh application that automatically downloads web sites from the Internet. It does this by copying the site's HTML documents, images, backgrounds, movies, and other files to your local hard drive. Just enter a URL and click a button and SiteSucker can download an entire web site.

What's new in this version:

Optimized status information updates.
Added "resume" AppleScript command.
Used UTF-8 encoding by default for URLs and HTML and CSS files.
Added "Get All Files on Subdomains" option to the Download Option setting.
Fixed a bug that could prevent HTML files from downloading if they were already downloaded.
Fixed a bug that caused SiteSucker to exclude the port number in downloads of relative URLs.
Fixed a bug that prevented downloads under Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard).

And this is the one I've been using over the last few months. I doesn't seem like Web Devil, or any of the other apps are updating to keep up to the pace with the new styles of websites out there. This does the job good, no problems.

I have used it for years. It works great.

I appreciate the "Localize http" default fix. I was confused by this problem more than once.

After emailing the developer three days ago, they replied today with with a document containing the settings that were successful for them to download the site I was trying to get. He explained that my search settings could be saved in a similar document so I wouldn't have to reset them every time.
He says that "It looks like the crash that you saw was caused by an invalid URL on another site" and "This problem will be fixed in the next version of SiteSucker."

In the meantime I had kept trying different settings and finally managed to download the site I wanted by limiting the search to the site's server only.

Nice to see that the developer responds to problems and tries to help!
